Mitcham Korfball Club

Mitcham korfball club host their annual pre season tournament on Sunday 18th September 2011 at Trinity’s main sports hall in Croydon.

The tournament will feature five clubs; Bec, Kingfishers, Mitcham, Nottingham, and Trojans.

Rules 2011

• 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.
• Matches will start on time from the central desk, matches will last for 40 minutes, after 20 minutes the referee will signal 'half time'. Teams will change ends immediately - the clock will not stop.
• The clock and shot-clock will be controlled by 'the desk'.
• The 'home' team will choose ends, layout first and start will the ball.
• Referees to be provided by teams. Referee's name to be declared 30 minutes before game they should be reffing

Discipline

• If an individual receives 2 yellow cards in the tournament they will be suspended from the next match.
• A red card will result in suspension from the remainder of the tournament.

1. Points
2. Goal difference from matches between tying teams
3. Goal difference from all matches
4. Goals scored in all matches
5. Penalty shoot out. 8 named players to take a penalty each, if still equal sudden death.
