mitchamkorfball.co.uk are delighted to announce that England International Heather Lymburn has requested to transfer to Mitcham Korfball Club for the 2011/12 Haven Sports Korfball League season.
Lymburn first approached Mitcham Korfball Club at the start of the summer indicating that she was considering transferring from Norwich Knights. Recently Lymburn contacted Mitcham’s chairperson, Emma Germain requesting to officially join.
The official paperwork will be completed and submitted to the England Korfball Association in the next few days.
Speaking exclusively to mitchamkorfball.co.uk she said: "I am so pleased to be here. I am very happy to sign for a club with so much history in British and European korfball. I’m looking forward to helping Mitcham return to the top of English Korfball"

The official transfer request will be submitted to the England Korfball Association in the coming days with the process expected to complete within a couple of weeks.
Lymburn, 25, made sixteen appearances for Norwich Knights in the top flight of English Korfball last season scoring 17 goals. Lymburn has been a member of the England senior korfball squad since the World Games held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2009.
