Accountants Linder Francis Ferguson were the main sponsors of the tournament |
Mitcham Korfball Club’s annual outdoor summer tournament sponsored by accountants; Linder Francis Ferguson and Kingsmill was won by an all-star team “Pitch 1”. The winning team took home a cash prize of £200.
“Pitch 1” featured a number of England’s most talented and promising Internationals and two Dutch nationals.
Pitch 1 beat Bec Korfball Club 7 goals to 4 in an exhilarating final.
The all-star team “Pitch 1” were deserving winners after also defeating both Mitcham’s first team as well as the Dutch side, Die Hague's A1 on route to the final.

In total sixteen teams competed for the cash prize. The final positions were: 1st Pitch 1, 2nd Bec 1, 3rd Nottingham 1, 4th Die Hague A1, 5th Nomads 1, 6th Mitcham 1, 7th Trojans, 8th Bec 2, 9th Bearsted 1, 10th Croydon, 11th Jedi Knights, 12th Nomads 2, 13th Supernova, 14th Mitcham 2, 15th Bearsted 2, 16th Ely Vikings.
The winning team featured: Charlie Vogwill (Nottingham), Joe Bedford (TOP, Netherlands), Jasper van der Meer, Joceyln Hoffman (Sporting Delta, Netherlands), Karianne Fox, Steph Allen (Norwich Knights), Jordon Lown, Sammi Bedford (Kingfishers)
