Mitcham finish the 2010 Europa Shield tournament in 5th place after a thrilling golden goal play-off match against Budapest.

Budapest took full advantage of the home support, scoring 7 goals to Mitcham’s 1 in the opening 17 minutes.

It was the side from England that finished the match on top with Carina Lamelas scoring the winning goal in extra time. The result means Mitcham finished the tournament in 5th position.
