Dean Woods injured

Mitcham first team regular Dean Woods could be out for the remainder of the Haven Sports Korfball League season after a serious calf injury sustained during a training match against the England Senior team on Saturday 16th January.

The 26-year-old had to be helped from the pitch midway through the second half.

Mitcham travel to Nottingham today (17th January) for a must win match. The injury comes at the worst time for Woods and the Mitcham squad with the Europa Shield competition next weekend (23-24 January).
