Mitcham Korfball Club

Mitcham Korfball Club's first team regular Karen Sparrow has confirmed that she is leaving after over 15 years at the club.

It is expected that the 31-year-old will join another London based National League side, most probably Bec korfball club, based near Clapham.

On hearing the news Dean Woods commented: "Karen has been a key figure for us and leaves the club with our sincere best wishes. We can look back at over 15 years of outstanding service for this club"

Karen Sparrow told team mates "I feel it is the right time to move on now. I wish Mitcham all the best for the season"
