Mitcham Korfball Club

On Sunday 14th June Mitcham Korfball Club hosted their annual outdoor summer tournament.

The 2009 tournament was held at a new and improved venue at John Fisher Sports ground, which is near Warlingham, Surrey.

The sports ground was perfect, there was plenty of space for good quality grass pitches and a nice friendly club house. Mitcham are certainly looking to return next year for the 2010 tournament season!

Thirteen teams entered the 2009 tournament, fewer teams than previous years. However with more tournaments being held around the country the trend is now for 'smaller' tournaments.

After a full days of korfball the final standings were:
