Mitcham Korfball Club

Mitcham and England International Aimee Evans has this week signed a contract to play korfball next season with Korfball League side TOP/Wereldtickets.nl.

22-year-old Evans had a trial with TOP in the Netherlands on Tuesday 14th April and signed her contract to join the side on Thursday.

Also joining TOP next season will be former Mitcham player, Joe Bedford. Bedford joined Mitcham in 2005 and went on to play in the club's first team, securing both National League titles and a Europa Cup bronze medal in 2008.

TOP/Wereldtickets.nl were recently promoted to the Korfball League -the elite division in Holland - finishing in 6th place in the 2008/09 season.
