Much fancied Nottingham have displayed their credentials for the 2008/2009 season.

With their squad from last season, who qualified for a European place for the first time, bolstered by the strength and experience of Jo Bedford, many are predicting good things for Nottingham this season. This sunday gives them a chance to blow out some summer cobwebs and get the ball rolling for the premiership's northern powerhouse. Nottingham have made a few changes with England stars Rob Mann, Al Knight and Heather Ikwemesi missing, with Rahul Desai taking his place in the line up at their expense.

Nottingham are looking forward to the challenge of this high intensity tournament to test ourselves against some of England's best teams. Nick Donovan, anticipates the weekend and forthcoming season
