Karen Sparrow Sidelined until November

Mitcham Korfball Club will be without the services of Karen Sparrow for the opening matches of the 2008/09 Premier League season.

The influential 30-year-old has recently undergone shoulder surgery which will sideline the player until at least November.

Mitcham's top female goal scorer of last season will begin recovery with physiotherapy in the next few weeks.
