Mitcham Korfball Club

Mitcham Korfball Club held its annual awards night on Saturday 5th July. Chairperson Sam Wells presented the following awards for the clubs adult members: Club Member of the Year, Most Improved Player, Players Player and Most Valuable Player (1st, 2nd and 3rd team).

In addition to the adult trophies there was also a number of junior awards including the prestigious Mitcham’s Junior Member of the Year award.

Senior Awards:

First team Most Valuable Player – Ross Bower

Second team Most Valuable Player – Byron Attwell

Third team Most Valuable Player – Mike Taylor

Most Improved Player – Kathryn Ayres

Players Player – Ross Bower

Club Member of the Year – Sam Wells

Junior Awards:

Under 9 Most Valuable Player – Shane

Under 9 Most Improved Player – Rosie

Under 11 Most Valuable Player – Ellis

Under 11 Most Improved Player – Luke

Under 16 Most Valuable Player – Daniel

Under 16 Most Improved Player – Vicki

Under 16 Improved Player Award - Luke
