Mitcham Korfball Club will be without the services of Jess Beale next season after the 18-year-old announced that she will be leaving the club.
The England youth International moved to Mitcham two years ago from Bearsted Korfball Club.
During the 2006/07 season the young player gain experience playing for Mitcham II in the National League's Reserve division before breaking into the club's first team last season.
Jess Beale made her intentions clear in an email to team mates on 10-June. The talented player said that next year she has to devote more time to her academic studies which means she would be unable to attend Mitcham's twice weekly club training sessions in London. Which suggests the player is looking to join a National League club based in Kent.

"I have enjoyed my two year span at Mitcham and feel that I have learnt so much as a player and a person" she added.
Kent has two clubs with teams in the National League's Premier division, Kwiek and Kingfisher - who recently won the playoff match against London side Nomads. Jess Beale may also return to join her former club, Bearsted.

However, with former Mitcham player Steve Green recently appointed as head coach of Kwiek Korfball Club it's possible that Jess could be playing in the orange of Kwiek next season.
