Coach Dave Synott commented ‘next season is going to be a huge challenge for Mitcham due to the change in the club dynamics. Last season 6 boys fought it out for the 4 starting births, this season only 3 of them are left due to the departure of Byron Attwell, Joe Bedford and Steve Green.’

On behalf of Mitcham KC, chairman Sam Wells would like to wish Byron Attwell, Joe Bedford and Steve Green good luck and bon voyage for next season.
Byron, the fancy dress king of Mitcham is taking time out to travel to countries far and wide and leaves us in August. Bon voyage Byron, I hope you have a fantastic trip. We look forward to welcoming you back after your trip of a lifetime.
Joe, the youngster of the first team, is off to University to have fun and erm….do a bit of studying. Work hard and make the most of your time away.
And last but no means least, Steve is moving on to pastures new for new challenges.
Thanks for all of your time, commitment and effort that you have put into Mitcham korfball club during your years with us, that has helped bring the club to where it is today.
Goodbye boys and good luck, we hope to see you all back in a Mitcham shirt very soon.
