Mitcham marched into the Cup Final with a deserved 15-11 win over rivals Bec Korfball Club in the earlier semi-final match. In the other semi-final Nottingham made hard work of London Regional League side Croydon Korfball Club.

In the final both teams exchanged the lead on a number of occasions - however it was the team from the East Midlands who had their noses in front at the final whistle.

Final score 15-16 to Nottingham.
