Mitcham is a self financing club, that is all it's costs come from it players. Costs
for affiliation, training halls and playing time must all be met. This unfortunately
means that we need to charge our members fees in order to continue.
New Members
New members are not charged any money for the first month of training. This is to
encourage new members to come back because we want you to play! Once you are hooked,
then we would be delighted to welcome you to become a club member.

Membership fee
There is a £15 membership fee per annum, which is reduced to £10 if
paid at the AGM. Juniors pay only £5
Regular Fees
The most popular way to pay regular fees is by monthy installment. Fees are paid
for twelve months a year. These fees included all training and matches for the entire
year, but exclude participation in summer tournaments. Fees are currently set at
the following levels:
|
Full Senior Players |
£30 |
|
Unemployed, Students, senior citizens |
£15 |
|
Youth Players* |
£12 |
The other way to pay is on a pay-as-you-play basis. This means that you pay for
each training and match that you participate in. This is popular for members who
play or train infrequently although for regular participants is less cost efficient.
